Fate.

OMG. It's 7:30 PM and I am writing my blog for today! Talk about being on top of it! =) I got home from class today and I was in a really good mood so I did my self portrait right away, took a TON of pictures, and in different places, no balcony or bathroom today! But first I'm going to talk, because that's what I do best, and I actually have something on my mind!

In the last couple days I had to catch up some friends on my life. They didn't know that Ben and I had broken up. So I told them that story. And the most common question is "Do you regret it?" Regret what? "Well, you know, breaking off your engagement." And it's usually said like it's the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. No, I don't regret it. Not one bit. Especially now that I know Jeff is ok, and not hurting anymore. I never wanted to hurt him and that would be the only thing about the situation I would change. I don't have any regrets about any relationship I have been in, or any situation in any instance. I know that sounds weird, especially if you know my crazy history. But the way I look at it, if I wouldn't have experienced those times, good and bad alike, I wouldn't be where I am or who I am today. And frankly, I like where I am. I love who I am, and I wouldn't change that for anything.

In talking about this it makes me think about the last six years of my life (it was six years ago February that I went on my first date). It is crazy to think where I was and how far I have come, how the smallest things have altered the course of my life and how it is all a chain reaction. I stand by "everything happens for a reason," I always have but do even moreso when looking back at my life.
