Anyhow, I came home and took Bridget out (I stayed at Katie's last night) and went to bed. I couldn't sleep any more but I felt awful, still not as bad as I did last night. We planned on going to the Art Hop downtown once Katie got out of work so I was determined to feel better, or at least well enough to do that. And I did. I still didn't feel the greatest but I'm good at hiding that.
So I got ready, including making a new "Shit Happens" necklace, and waited for Katie to get out of work. Then I picked her up and we went downtown to the Art Hop. It was interesting and enjoyable. There were a lot of photographs down there, which really got my attention. The first ones we saw I was really critiquing, Dad you would have understood, but Katie did not and told me to stop. lol. So from then on out I kept my critiques to myself. Aside from one set that I said those don't look like anything all that special, and someone said something about it being the middle school exhibit and Katie hit me with her paper and said "middle school, Sara!" I got some cool ideas for photos and craft stuff. The street was filled with a craft show, which was kinda interesting. It's always the same stuff, but I like looking at jewelry for ideas as well. One day, SOON, I will sell jewelry and photos both, I have realized how much $ potential I have sitting in this computer and in the other room, as long as I can find buyers!
Then after we were done with the art hop we sat on this rock downtown and had a Sara-and-Katie photoshoot. LOL. The photos are on facebook and they are ace. I love them. After that we went to Katie's and Katie made dinner while I talked to Dennis then we watched Say Yes to the Dress and talked about being old cat ladies. (See, I'm not the only pessimist in the world!) Then I headed home and uploaded more pictures and edited the ones from today, now I am posting so I can go to bed! (Sorry today's post wasn't funny or all that interesting, my wit will be back when I feel better. . .)
Here they are:
Day 75 (06.05.09): (WOW!)
it's not every day you see ballerinas downtown Kalamazoo.
Day 75:
I kinda cut Katie out because this was way better than any of the just self portraits. . .it's legal.
