When Dan and Leah got up we (Justin, Dan and I) decided to go get coffee while Leah got ready. Justin didn't drink coffee before we got together but I'm slowly convincing him it's a good thing. :) I don't drink it nearly as much as I used to but it is sooooo good. When we got back to the apartment Leah was ready to go, so we all left. She was heading to spend the day with her mom and we were heading to my Aunt Miriam's for lunch.
On our way, Dan asked if I wanted to stop to see a mansion on Oakland's campus, of course I said yes. I have quite the fascination with old buildings. And huge buildings. Moreso old ones though. . . anyhow we went to see this one. We couldn't get in because we were too late for the tour, which was fine because we didn't have a ton of time anyhow. It was 88,000+ square feet with over 100 rooms. Isn't that insane?!? I took a ton of pictures from the outside. Then we headed on to Miriam's house. Rachel was there with her friends from college so the group of us all ate lunch. Then I got a shower and got ready for the day (at like 4!).
Shortly after I got ready, we left to go to dinner at Dan and Leah's friends' house. I was looking forward to having dinner with them and hanging out with them. Dinner was great, company was great. But leaving was awful. Surprisingly, I held back my tears, but saying bye to Dan was hard. Of anyone in my life aside from my parents, he is the person I have been closest to for the longest time.
Justin and I headed back to Kalamazoo a little later than we had hoped, but that was ok. We hung out at the apartment for a little bit before going to bed.
