Before the pictures, I have to say dandelions have always fascinated me and I have always thought they were beautiful, even though they are weeds and everyone else hates them. And parachute balls are my favorite, when I was little I used to love it when they would be ready and I would sit in the grass and pull the seeds off one by one and blow them into the wind. So when I had the chance to take this picture I was excited. And I know I'm strange, I never claimed to be normal! =) Here are the shots of the day:
Day 53 (05.14.09):
a parachute ball.
Day 53:
I'm good at not looking like I feel! =)
(It comes from years of practice.)
“The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common. If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.”(I'm still not a fan of anonymous quotes, but sometimes the right one happens to be so.)

Dandelion Teas and wine are things I have heard of and never tried.
I haven't tried those either but I can't imagine they taste good....
we use dandelion in a soda over here.. its called dandelion and burdock.. its really nice kinda like dr pepper!
im the same though i took some pics before and you wouldnt think i was ill but i was bored lying in bed so i pulled my makeup case on the bed and started playing incase i do feel well enough to go out tomorrow and the final outcome was good.. its like a mask though enough makeup and i think i could disguise if i was dead and decomposing lol!!
Interesting.
Yeah, I ONLY wear eye make-up so if I'm really sick my paleness shows, sometimes I'll throw some blush on to counteract that but I've never been a foundation or powder or concealer girl. It's all the eyes for me.
"dandelion and burdock" What kind of pop do you use?
what do u mean what kind of pop???? i will see if i can find the ingredients used to make it.. its pretty much a fizzy drink like coke or dr pepper but it was invented back in the victorian times ish i think!
here u go bryan have a read.. i think if u found a recipe for the cordial if u added it to plain soda water it might have a similar affect!

Haha, Kate is from England and didn't know what pop is. Don't worry I straightened it out! =)
lol well we have pop over here but i have hand on heart never heard an ammerican use it always heard it as soda so i thought he meant something else! lol
Haha, well I think it's mainly a midwest thing, am I right? Anyone? I know it Texas everything is called coke instead of soda or pop.
so even sprite and brisk get called coke.. well that would be mighty confusing when placing an order for a drink wouldnt it!! lol!!
i dunno u lot are crazy out there.. but i do like the whole free refill thing on drinks i only know pizza hut here that do it!!
That's what I have heard. When you order a drink you order a coke and they ask you what kind. lol.
I would just call it pop. . .
Crazy is in the eye of the beholder but since every aspect of my life is crazy I'll accept that! =)
true!! though luckily where we have been havent encountered the nuttiness yet! i swear though gareth would move to the us just for bubba gump co and raspberry ice tea!! lol
I was gonna say something about you calling it soda. I figured you would say something from me calling it pop in return. I have family in England. My Grandma was a WW2 bride. She was from Bristol.
awww well if ur grandma is still around (heres hoping she is) she might remember dandelion and burdock.. i dont know if it was rationed or not made during the war but she might do!!
lol i just know a lot of american people and my brother in law lives in america so i have learnt to use words more fitting so theres not as much confusion!
