a penny for my thoughts...: Happy Birthday Dennis!!!

Anyone who knows me at all knows Dennis is my best friend. We don't get to see each other nearly as much as we should but we talk at least once a day. He is the first person I turn to when I'm in crisis mode, which for a while was almost an hourly thing. And he's the one person who is going to tell me exactly what they think no matter what. The story of our friendship is quite funny, if you ask me. We met at a pary, but he doesn’t remember that. We met at a speech, but he doesn’t remember that. We met at another speech and went to a dinner afterward together. We became Facebook friends. He messaged me because I had a gun in my profile picture. According to him this is the first time we talked. He is wrong, but I still think he is great. We actually argued about this last night. I think it's the only thing we really argue about, but he eventually said last night that he's going to have to let me win this one. (I win every one! ;) ) So, happy birthday to him.

On to my day, Dennis woke me up this morning before he left. I actually got a full night's sleep for the first time in a LONG time, it was nice.

When Dave came to the party on Friday he brought me the book "Freakonomics" to read. We had talked about the book and some stuff in it when we went out to dinner a couple weeks ago now. So I was really happy he brought it and I started it today. It is incredibly interesting and that's all I am saying as I will be giving a book report on it later and don't want to give anything away yet!

Other than reading, I uploaded my pictures from the other night, and am currently watching the Survivor finale. So happy JT won! Ah, there have been too many seasons that I was disappointed with the winner, he was my pick from day one. And if you watch Survivor you know why! =) On a similar note I have started working on completing #74. It's beyond time I do it, I've been saying for years I was going to as soon as I turned 21 and I haven't yet. Of course I will let ya'll know when I actually send it in. =)
