Anyhow, we got up and ate breakfast and got dressed. Then we headed to Mackinaw. We had the pleasure of watching the sun rise while on the bridge and for the first time since 9.11.01, a freighter was allowed to go under the bridge while we were on it. It made for some very great pictures and I had a rough time picking out my photo of the day for this day. Our walk was good, I don't think either of us had anything to complain about, except for maybe heat toward the end of the walk. We made it across in one hour and thirty-five minutes.
After the walk, we met mom at the restaurant where she sits and has coffee while she waits for us. She drove us to see dad at his Operators picnic to see if he wanted to go to breakfast with us. He declined, but I got a free shirt, so it was worth it. We left dad and went to Big Boy (add an s if you are Katie and reading this) for breakfast. Food was delicious and much needed.
When we got home we watched Crash. Well, I should say Justin watched Crash and I crashed. I was so tired I couldn't possibly keep my eyes open to watch the movie. Shortly after the movie was over Justin had to leave, we cuddled for a bit then said goodbye. About 45 minutes later I got a call from him saying that he was stuck in traffic, and he wasn't even to Gaylord yet! I told my parents and the three of us agreed that his best bet would be turning around and staying at our house for the night and then getting up in the morning and heading back to Kalamazoo, but the decision was ultimately his. He made the right decision and came back to my parents.
We had dinner when he got here. Then we went off on a blackberry hunting expedition, which proved unsuccessful, unless you count Justin's million bug bites as success. When we got back, we took showers and then played some Jeopardy before calling it a night.

Random Fact of the Day:
The Pentagon has twice as many restrooms as necessary. When it was built, segregation was still in place in Virginia, so separate restrooms for blacks and whites were required by law.
