Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thursday (November 25) I got up in the morning and made pistachio salad and a batch of brownies. The salad was to take to Thanksgiving dinner, the brownies were not. :) Once I had my dish to pass ready to go I made sure Katie was up, then got in the shower so we could get on the road at a decent time. After I was out of the shower and ready to go, and Katie and Justin were ready to go, we headed to the fire station.

I needed to do my weekly air station run, so I drug them along with me and showed them around the station. I think it's interesting for people who haven't been around it all their lives, maybe? Once my half hour run was over we got on the road to Gaylord.

Katie's dad met us so he could take her home. She lives in Houghton Lake, so it's not that far of a drive. Then Justin and I headed to the Parish house, where my mom's side of the family has Thanksgiving dinner every year. We spent a few hours there, eating and visiting with everyone. It's a huge get-together, I think we had 5o-some there this year. When Mom started feeling crappy we headed back home.

On our way here we stopped at Jason and Shawnia's house. We hung out with them, talked and played Mario on the Wii for a bit before making it home again. It was kinda late by the time we got home, Justin and I looked at some online Black Friday deals and then headed to bed.
