Baking.

Day 22 - [04.13.10]

I spent a while today after work working on baking. My cousin Dan is coming tomorrow and I told him that I would put together a get-together with the family. So I decided to have it at the fire hall after dinner and serve desserts. So I made brownies, turtle cookie bars (they are by far the best), magic cookies, and Reese's bars. The plate of them in the picture is the plate that I put together to take to my boss. I told him I was going to go home and bake after work and he asked me to bring some in for him. I don't think he actually is expecting me to, but I put together the plate and will be taking it in to him in the morning.

[The first time I heard this song I instantly wrote down part of the lyrics so I could re-listen to it when I get home. If you were to look through my notebook or planner you would find lots of partial lyrics in them. I tend to do that often. Anyhow, I felt this song was very appropriate for my life about now. Minus the fact that I have little to nothing to do with the "you" in my life and quite a bit to do with the "him" in my life right now. That is definitely a good thing. And if I never have anything else to do with the "you" that is perfectly fine with me. :) Anyhow, the song is awesome, or at least I think so. . . so listen to it if you haven't yet.]
