Day 29 - [04.20.10]

This is all the makeup I wear on a regular basis, the only thing that might change is the color of my eyeshadow and if my lip ring is in I rarely wear the lip gloss because it gets on the ring and annoys me. Let's see, I'll tell you a bit about my collection in the order that it is applied.

The compact is CoverGirl blush. It is the closest to just a nude as I could get. I started wearing it when I was sick and needed some color in my face so I didn't look like a walking dead person. Seriously.

The brown pencil is an eyebrow pencil. I use it (most of the time) to fill in my eyebrows. Part of the reason I do this is because they are kinda thin, the other part is because they are kinda light. The latter was the bigger issue when I first started using it because I was dying my hair black and I had light eyebrows, yeah, it looked weird.

The gray tube with the silver applicator is my eyeshadow. I have used strictly Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush eye shadow for years now. I love it. I wear the dark gray or the dark brown the majority of the time but I have all kinds of colors, so when I'm feeling up to it I can change it up.

The black Line Stilleto tube is the liquid eyeliner I use to line my lids and the corners of my eyes. I have tried various liquid liners over the years and I have decided that this is my favorite. I really like how it goes on and that the applicator doesn't fall apart like some other brands have.

Then I put on my kohl eyeliner on the rims of my eyes. I have used Rimmel Jet Black Kohl Eyeliner for YEARS. In fact, I know that it was the first kohl eyeliner I ever used and I have never felt the need to try a different one.

Finally I finish my eyes with mascara. I have used SO MANY brands of mascara over the years. I finally fell in love with one (Max Factor something. . . ) and then the stupid company discontinued selling their products in the US. So I tried a couple others and have decided that I really really like Maybelline Lash Stilletto. It works really well and I like how it looks. :)

Then, on days that I work usually, I apply CG Wetslicks AmazeMint lip gloss throughout the day. I love the AmazeMint line. It's put out by Crest and CoverGirl and is minty, so it makes my lips feel awesome AND it freshens my breath.
