Day Out.

Wednesday (September 23) I made up for the lack of things I did on Tuesday. Mom and Dad had to go to town so I told them I would tag along. Man, I learned my lesson. We left the house at like one. My mom had a doctor's appointment. While she was in the office I talked to Dan (my cousin) and read Breaking Dawn (the last Twilight book). When they got out, we went to the post office to mail out a book I sold.

While we were in Indian River, we decided to stop by my brother's house. The bridge between my house and Indian River is out so it's now like 20-some miles to my brother's, so it's much easier to just see him when we are already there. So we visited with him and the kids for a little bit before heading to Cheboygan.

In Cheboygan, we had to go to the pharmacy so Mom could get her prescriptions filled. Then Dad and I went into K-Mart to see if we could get him a pair of shoes. Our K-Mart up here is dead. Well I guess we could say it's brain dead and on life support. For some reason they are still in business but they haven't had much business in years. So, needless to say, we had no luck finding shoes.

On our way to go grocery shopping I realized I was STARVING, so I begged Dad to stop at a restaurant. Mom was hungry as well, so we went to Big Boy for lunch/dinner. While we were there Justin called me because he had gotten out of class. That made me realize it was 530, or later! And we still weren't done in town!!

When we left Big Boy we went to Wal-Mart and got groceries. It wasn't all that exciting, pretty much we got our groceries and left. It took FOREVER but that's because we kept forgetting stuff and had to backtrack. =/ When we got home I talked to Justin on Skype and went to bed.

"Shopping is a woman thing. It's a contact sport like football. Women enjoy the scrimmage, the noisy crowds, the danger of being trampled to death, and the ecstasy of the purchase. "
